First you want to wash and scrub any dirt off the outside of your potatoes.
Then slice the potatoes in half lengthwise. Then cut each half into 4-6 wedges as shown in the photo below.
Next, you’re going to add the cut potatoes to a large bowl of cold water. Make sure they are all covered by the water, and let them sit for 10 minutes. This helps release some of the starch and will really ensure they get good and crispy!
Once they are done soaking, drain the water off and pat them dry.
Next, add the potatoes to the basket of your air fryer in a single layer. (Depending on how large your air fryer is, you may need to do them in two batches. You don't want to over crowd the basket.)
Then, spray with your favorite cooking spray, toss them slightly by shaking the basket and spray again.
Next, mix the spices (sea salt, ground pepper, and paprika) in a small dish and sprinkle it evenly over the potatoes.
Close the air fryer and cook the potatoes for 10 minutes on 400 degrees. Then, remove the basket, toss the potatoes, and then return the basket to the air fryer and cook for another 8-10 minutes on 400 degrees until browned and crispy!
Reheating instructions
You can enjoy your air fryer potato wedges right away, or store for another time! The beauty of the air fryer is you can reheat them at any time for 2-3 minutes on 400 degrees and they’ll go right back to being super fresh and crispy!
